Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
